Platform Opens for Staffing Polling Centers for Parliamentary Elections

The Ministry of Interior has announced the opening of the process for staffing polling centers for the 2026 Parliamentary Elections, scheduled for May 24th, 2026. Public employees, unemployed graduates, and employees of public and private organizations are eligible to apply. The application process is exclusively online, through the website aps.elections.moi.gov.cy, and the deadline is April 6th, 2026. Priority will be given to unemployed graduates registered with the Department of Labor of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance, as has been the case in previous elections. This regulation aims to provide employment opportunities for individuals seeking work. The staffing of polling centers is crucial for the smooth conduct of the elections and ensuring the transparency of the electoral process. The involvement of qualified personnel helps avoid errors and irregularities during voting and vote counting. The online application process facilitates the process for interested parties and reduces the administrative workload. The clearly defined application deadline ensures the timely completion of the staffing process and smooth preparation for the elections.
