Cyprus GDP: 3.8% Growth in 2025 Above EU Average

The Cypriot economy is expected to grow by 3.8% in 2025, significantly exceeding the European Union average of 1.5%. According to Eurostat data, Cyprus ranks among the economies with the highest growth in the EU. Ireland and Malta lead with 12.3% and 4.0% respectively. Conversely, Germany, Finland, and Hungary are expected to have the lowest growth rates. An acceleration of growth at the European level is evident, with the EU GDP increasing from 1.1% in 2024 to 1.5% in 2025. Cyprus, with a growth rate almost 2.5 times higher than the European average, confirms the dynamism of its economic activity.
