Revealing Survey: 9 in 10 Doctors See GeSY Software Failing – “Medical Practice Blocked”

A recent survey by the Pancyprian Medical Association (PIMS) reveals serious problems with the GeSY IT system. Nine out of ten doctors report frequent malfunctions, outages, and slow performance of the system, which hinder medical practice. Outages last from 1 to 4 hours at least once a week, while many doctors are forced to work outside of normal hours to cover backlogs. In addition, doctors criticize the medical protocols, describing them as incomprehensible and bureaucratic. PIMS calls on the HIO to urgently resolve the problems and improve the system, warning that the continued malfunction endangers the quality of healthcare.
