Limassol Murder Attempt: Father Bought Boat for Suspects' Escape

Two brothers have been remanded in custody for six days in connection with the attempted murder that took place in Limassol on December 20th. Their father is wanted, as he is alleged to have helped them escape by boat. According to information, the father recently purchased a large boat suitable for long journeys and attempted to sell the suspects' car. Police discovered that the boat was registered in the father's name since November 2025 and that an additional fuel tank had been installed. The brothers are charged with conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, assault, weapons offenses, and more. Their arrest followed a high-speed chase at sea, during which they attacked police officers with a knife and wood.
