A. Dimitriou: "We Cannot Gamble with the Fate of Our Homeland"

The President of DISY, Annita Dimitriou, in a speech for National Anniversaries, emphasized the importance of stability and national unity in a period of geopolitical instability. She stressed that Cyprus must protect its national interests and play an active role in the region, in coordination with Greece. Ms. Dimitriou referred to Turkey's revisionist pursuits and the need to continue diplomatic efforts for the reunification of Cyprus. She warned of the dangers of gambling with the fate of the homeland and the need for responsible political choices.
