Two Dead and 5 Injured in Avalanche in Italy
At least two skiers have lost their lives in an avalanche in Alto Adige, northern Italy – 5 injured in serious condition and one missing. According to authorities, the avalanche struck a group of skiers. The rescue operation was immediate, with six helicopters and a total of eighty members of the Italian financial police, Alpine First Aid and rescue teams dispatched from Austria.
