Independent Support Authority: First Lady Resigns Amid Funding Controversy

Following the release of a video sparking controversy over potential shadowy funding, First Lady Philippa Karsera Christodoulidou announced her resignation from the presidency of the Independent Social Support Authority (ISSA). The ISSA's Management Committee expressed its regret and called on Ms. Karsera to reconsider her decision, but her position was irrevocable. The Authority proposes the public disclosure of donors' names exceeding €20,000, as well as the immediate implementation of the regulation submitted by the Audit Office. The goal is to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of the Authority's work and the support of eligible students.
