Portuguese coach Ricardo Sa Pinto has been attending Cyprus League matches and is rumored to be a candidate for the head coach position at AEK Larnaca, following the departure of Imanol Idiakez. AEK is in a transitional period after the departures of Karapatakis and Roka and is searching for the right coach to move forward. Sa Pinto is one of several coaches being considered by the team.
