The Minister of Justice, Kostas Fytiris, held meetings with representatives of the security forces unions, including the Prison Unions. Discussions focused on the long-standing problems facing the Prisons and the Police, with an emphasis on the need for modernization and improved working conditions. The Minister of Justice announced that he will visit the Central Prisons on the 7th of the month, accompanied by the Chief of Police and the Prison Directors, in order to examine the problems firsthand.
