Thessaloniki: Man Arrested for Harassment, Woman and Her Partner Counter-Attack

In the early hours of New Year's Day, police in Thessaloniki arrested a 43-year-old foreign national for sexual harassment and insulting a 20-year-old woman, as well as for threatening her 24-year-old partner. According to police, the 43-year-old sexually harassed, slapped, and verbally abused the young woman in a bar in the city. The 20-year-old and her partner retaliated, causing bodily harm and verbally abusing the perpetrator, leading to their arrest as well. The case has been referred to the competent prosecutor. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and further investigations are expected.
