Delays on Paphos – Polis Chrysochous Road: New Phase of Four-Lane Highway

The construction of the Paphos – Polis Chrysochous road has faced significant delays due to the termination of the initial contract with the previous contractor. The project was re-tendered in August 2025, and new bids are expected by the end of March 2026. The new phase of the project involves the construction of a four-lane highway from Stroumpi to Polis Chrysochous. The goal of the new phase is to improve road safety and enhance connectivity with the urban centers of the region.
