Paphos Mayor's Rape Case Registered in Limassol Court

The rape case involving suspended Paphos Mayor, Phaedon Phaedonos, has been registered at the Limassol District Court. The case was transferred to Limassol due to serious reasons that make it unsuitable for trial in Paphos. The referral process to the Criminal Court is scheduled for April 2nd, where the indictment will be served to Mr. Phaedonos and restrictive conditions will be imposed. Mr. Phaedonos is charged with four felonies: rape, sexual assault, and leading someone into a state of intoxication with the intent to commit a felony or misdemeanor, which carry a life sentence.
