Louvre Museum Closes Again Due to Strike

The Louvre Museum remained closed today, Monday, January 12th, due to a new strike by its staff. The decision to strike was made at a general assembly of employees, who found insufficient progress in negotiations with the museum's management and the Ministry of Culture regarding improvements to working conditions. This is the second time the museum has closed since the start of the strike action on December 15th. The Louvre's management announced that it cannot open its doors due to the strike.
