Με το άρμα της εντυπωσιακής Βασίλισσας του Καρναβαλιού Αμμοχώστου, Αδαμαντίνης Κοσμά ξεκίνησε και συνεχίζεται αυτή την ώρα η μεγάλη Καρναβαλίστικη παρέλαση Αμμοχώστου στο Παραλίμνι.
Στην παρέλαση η οποία διοργανώνεται από τον Δήμο Παραλιμνίου – Δερύνειας συμμετέχουν πέραν των τριών χιλιάδων καρναβαλιστών, ενώ δεκάδες χιλιάδες επισκέπτες βρίσκονται στο Παραλίμνι για να παρακολουθήσουν από κοντά την καρναβαλίστικη παρέλαση.
Μετά την παρέλαση, ο Δήμος Παραλιμνίου – Δερύνειας διοργανώνει πάρτι στην πλατεία Αγίου Γεωργίου στο Παραλίμνι.
Επισημαίνεται ότι το βράδυ του Σαββάτου 21 Φεβρουαρίου διοργανώθηκε μεγάλη νυχτερινή ποδαράτη παρέλαση στην οποία συμμετείχαν πέραν των δύο χιλιάδων καρναβαλιστών.

The grand Famagusta Carnival parade began in Paralimni with the float of the Carnival Queen, Adamantini Kosma. Over 3,000 carnival participants took part in the parade, while tens of thousands of visitors watched the spectacle. The parade was organized by the Municipality of Paralimni – Deryneia and attracted a large number of spectators, making it one of the largest carnival events in Cyprus. After the parade, the Municipality of Paralimni – Deryneia organized a party in Agios Georgios Square, offering participants and spectators the opportunity to continue the fun. In addition, a night pedestrian parade was organized on Saturday evening, in which over 2,000 carnival participants took part, adding another dimension to the festive atmosphere.
