A cold air mass is expected to affect Cyprus starting tomorrow, Sunday, bringing a drop in temperatures, local rains, and snow, mainly in the mountains. Today, the weather will be mostly cloudy with local showers and a possibility of isolated thunderstorms, while snow or sleet is expected in the higher parts of Troodos. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the north to northeast. The temperature will reach 15 degrees Celsius inland, 17 degrees Celsius on the coast, and 5 degrees Celsius in the mountains. Tonight, the weather will remain cloudy with rain and snowfall in the mountains. Winds will strengthen temporarily in some areas. The temperature will drop to 8 degrees Celsius inland, 10 degrees Celsius on the coast, and 1 degree Celsius in the mountains, with a possibility of frost. On Sunday, the rains will be limited to the southwest and west, while snowfall will continue in the mountains. Strong northeastern winds will prevail. On Monday, the weather will be cold with isolated showers, mainly in the mountains and west, and snowfall in the higher and lower mountains in the afternoon. On Tuesday, the weather is expected to improve and become mostly clear, but it will remain cold. The temperature will be below the average climatic values.
