Police Raid Restaurant: Suspects Claim Benefits and Tourism as Source of Funds

Police raided a restaurant in Paphos, arresting four suspects for illegal possession of property and an offensive weapon. The suspects, aged 30 to 43, were arrested after a check following information about a meeting of members of organized crime groups. During the search, a knuckle duster and cash amounts totaling 12,810 euros were found in their possession. The suspects claimed that the money came from benefits and tourism, while the knuckle duster was purchased from a kiosk. The case is under investigation and the suspects remain in custody pending a court decision.
