Cultural Program of the Cypriot EU Presidency 2026 Presented

The Deputy Minister of Culture, Dr. Vasiliki Kassianidou, presented the Cultural Program of the Cypriot EU Presidency for 2026, emphasizing that Cyprus will be represented in the European Union not only with institutional positions but also with art and culture. The program, which will be implemented during the first semester of the Cypriot presidency of the Council of the EU, has a total cost of €4.4 million and relies on the participation of more than 500 artists and cultural professionals. Key pillars of the program include the promotion of Cyprus's cultural heritage, the highlighting of contemporary creation, the integration of research and technology, and the strengthening of cultural diplomacy.
