Equality at the Conference of Greek Police Officers – "Common trade union struggles until the end"

The 36th Panhellenic Conference of the Panhellenic Police Union (POASY) in Athens hosted representatives of ISOTITA, the trade union of Cypriot police officers. The president of the Police Branch of the ISOTITA Trade Union, Nikos Loizidis, represented the Cypriot police officers at the conference, where he expressed the need for common trade union struggles. Mr. Loizidis had meetings with the Minister of Citizen Protection Mr. Chryssochoidis, the Minister of Migration Mr. Pleuris, the Chief of EL.AS Mr. D. Mallios and other Greek police trade unionists. The purpose of these meetings was to exchange views and strengthen cooperation between the police unions of Greece and Cyprus. The presence of ISOTITA at the conference highlights the importance of interstate cooperation in the field of policing and the need for a joint approach to the challenges faced by police officers in Greece and Cyprus.
