Cyprus Seeks Foreign Assistance in Controversial Video Investigation

The Cypriot Republic has requested assistance from specialized teams from the United States, Israel, England, and France to investigate the controversial video concerning the President's Chief of Staff. The video contains references to practices of transactions with business interests and the existence of a funding mechanism within the Presidential Palace. The Police are cooperating with the Legal Service to evaluate the collected data, and the former Minister of Energy, Giorgos Lakkotrypis, has already testified to the Police. Scientific reports from relevant services are also expected. Currently, it has not been clarified whether testimonies will be taken from other individuals appearing in the video.
