Jack Fletcher Banned for Six Matches for Homophobic Abuse

Jack Fletcher, son of former defender Darren Fletcher, has been banned for six matches for homophobic abuse directed at an opponent during an EFL Trophy match in October. Fletcher called a Barnsley player a “gay boy” and, although initially punished, the reason has now been revealed. He has also been fined £1,500 and is required to attend a mandatory education program.
