Kremlin Agrees with Trump: "Zelenskyy Must Take Responsibility"

The Kremlin has stated it agrees with former US President Donald Trump's view that Ukraine and its President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are primarily responsible for delaying a peace agreement with Russia. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia remains open to negotiations, reiterating its position. At the same time, he warned that Ukraine's opportunities to achieve a solution through negotiations are diminishing, calling on Zelenskyy to take responsibility and make the appropriate decision. Russia has captured significant areas of Ukrainian territory recently and seeks control of the entire Donetsk region. The US has proposed the creation of a free economic zone as part of a potential agreement, but Russia and Ukraine have different preconditions for starting negotiations.
