Phytiris on Annie Case: No Arrests Based on Social Media Posts

Justice Minister Kostas Phytiris commented on the Annie case and investigations into organized crime. He emphasized that arrests are made only based on legal procedures, testimonies, and evidence, and not simply due to reports on social media. Mr. Phytiris stated that the government has enacted legislation to combat organized crime and is determined to remove any "rotten apples" from the system. He also noted that the Police are evaluating all information regarding the Annie case, but cannot confirm whether a team will be sent to Russia. The policy direction is to solve the case based on available evidence.
