President Christodoulides Inaugurates Cypriot Exhibitions in Paris

The President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, inaugurated two significant exhibitions in Paris showcasing Cyprus's cultural heritage and its ties with France and Europe. The exhibitions are held within the framework of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union and are a collaboration between Cypriot entities, the Louvre Museum, and the National Library of France. The Louvre Museum exhibits sixteen Cypriot antiquities, offering a glimpse into the production techniques and trade exchanges during the Chalcolithic period and the Bronze Age. The exhibition will run until June 22, 2026. Concurrently, the National Library of France hosts an exhibition honoring Cyprus through antiquities, manuscripts, drawings, engravings, and archival documents, revealing how the French perceived the island. This exhibition will last until June 14, 2026. These exhibitions represent a significant opportunity to promote Cypriot culture and history internationally, while also strengthening ties between Cyprus, France, and Europe.
