Ο Μίλαν Τράικοβιτς χάρισε το απόγευμα του Σαββάτου (21/02) το πρώτο χρυσό μετάλλιο στην Κύπρο, στο 30ό Βαλκανικό Πρωτάθλημα Κλειστού Στίβου, το οποίο φιλοξενεί το Βελιγράδι.
Ο πρωταθλητής Ευρώπης το 2019 στον κλειστό στίβο και αθλητής τού Αντώνη Γιαννουλάκη, επιβεβαίωσε την κυριαρχία του στα Βαλκάνια, τερματίζοντας στην 1η θέση τού τελικού στα 60μ. με εμπόδια με 7.71, παρά το ότι έφυγε τελευταίος από τον βατήρα (αντίδραση 0.224).

Cypriot athlete Milan Trajkovic won the gold medal in the 60m hurdles at the 30th Balkan Indoor Athletics Championships held in Belgrade. Trajkovic, the 2019 European champion, finished with a time of 7.71, despite a slow start (0.224). This is the first gold medal for Cyprus at the championship. The athlete is coached by Antonis Giannoulakis. Trajkovic's success confirms his dominance in the Balkans and is a significant achievement for Cypriot athletics.
