New Court Date Set for Individuals Accused of Criminal Organization Membership

Four individuals accused of participating in a criminal organization will appear in court on April 7th before the Larnaca Permanent Criminal Court. Today's hearing was postponed at the request of the defense attorneys, who requested more time and details regarding the charges. The defendants, aged 42, 22, and 29 (two individuals), were arrested on January 22nd during a large police operation in Larnaca and the Central Prisons. They face a total of seven charges, including participation in a criminal organization, conspiracy to commit a felony, extortion, money laundering, and possession of firearms. These offenses allegedly occurred between 2023 and 2025 in Larnaca. The case is scheduled to continue on April 7th, when the defendants will be called to answer the charges against them.
