Annie Alexui Calls on Justice Minister to Receive Evidence

Published February 10, 2026, 12:40

Ioanna Fotiou, known as Annie Alexui, has publicly called on the Minister of Justice, Konstantinos Fytiris, to contact her, offering to provide him with videos, audio recordings, and other evidence that, she claims, proves injustices and violence by the Police, especially in Paphos. This move comes after the Minister’s announcements to crack down on organized crime and modernize the prison system. The Government Spokesman, Konstantinos Letymbiotis, responded that the Minister of Justice has already presented an institutional plan to tackle organized crime. MPs from DISY and AKEL emphasized the need to investigate all the allegations made by Ms. Fotiou, beyond references to political figures and state officials. Annie Alexui is wanted by the Cypriot Police and has used social media to express her views and denounce phenomena of corruption and injustice.
