Anti-Corruption Authority: Citizens Should Not File Complaints Based on Audit Office Reports

The Independent Authority Against Corruption informs citizens that they do not need to file complaints based solely on reports from the Audit Office. The Authority receives all reports from the Audit Office and studies them, taking action ex officio where it finds issues that fall within its jurisdiction. It points out that not all Audit Office reports concern corruption and that the Authority cannot satisfy requests based solely on reproducing the content of the reports, without personal knowledge of the facts. The Authority maintains excellent cooperation with the Audit Office and seeks to avoid substituting its work.
