Arson Attack on 63-Year-Old's Vehicles in Paphos

A 63-year-old man in Paphos was the target of an arson attack, resulting in the destruction of three of his vehicles. The fire broke out in the early hours of the morning in a fenced area where an articulated truck, a towed caravan, and a van were parked. Authorities determined that the fire was deliberately set in the truck using flammable material and then spread to the other two vehicles. Assistant Police Operations Director of Paphos, Michalis Nikolaou, confirmed the malicious nature of the fire. The scene was cordoned off for necessary investigations, and the case has been assigned to the Paphos TAE for further investigation. The damage to the vehicles is significant, and police are investigating to identify the perpetrators and their motives. The area where the arson occurred is the industrial area of Agia Varvara in Paphos. Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Paphos TAE or the nearest police station.
