Omonia coach Henning Berg expressed his satisfaction with his team's qualification to the next round of the cup, after the victory over AEK. He stressed that Omonia played well and created many opportunities, while in the second half they had to defend effectively. Berg stated that the team has a long way to go and needs to improve continuously. He expressed his satisfaction with the performance and mentality of his players so far. He acknowledged that AEK is a great team and the qualification is important. The Omonia coach commented on Kyriakidis's presence in goal, emphasizing that he was calm and made a great save. He also referred to the absence of some players and the team's ability to respond to difficulties. Regarding transfers, Berg stated that Omonia has a good squad and a good team. If there is an opportunity to improve the team with players who are better than those already available and at a reasonable cost, it will be considered. However, he stressed that the team has a good set of players and good competition.
