CEOs in Cyprus Concerned About Pace of Business Transformation in the Age of AI

A PwC survey of 77 CEOs in Cyprus reveals concerns about the pace of business transformation and the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Nearly half of the CEOs (43%) are concerned that transformation is not keeping up with technological developments, including AI. Similar concerns are expressed at European and global levels. The survey shows that most businesses are in the early stages of leveraging AI for financial benefits, with a small percentage having already seen revenue increases or cost reductions. In Cyprus, 22% report increased revenue and 22% cost reductions from AI, while the majority have not observed a significant impact. The survey also highlights that the culture and technological environment of Cypriot businesses are not fully prepared for AI adoption.
