Christofias to Annita: "How Many Lies? Be Ashamed!" - Dispute Over Who First Waived State Car Provision

MP Christos Christofias expressed strong dissatisfaction with DISY President Annita Demetriou regarding a post of hers. Demetriou had claimed to be the first official to waive the privilege of a lifetime state-provided car. Christofias responded, arguing that his father, former President Dimitris Christofias, had waived the same privilege in 2013, handing over the car keys to Nicos Anastasiades. Christofias accused Demetriou of false statements, expressing his disappointment with politics and politicians.
