Cyprus is preparing to celebrate the Epiphany with splendor in all cities of the free areas, as well as in the occupied Agia Triada Karpasia. The celebrations include religious services, the blessing of the waters, and dives for the cross. The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, will attend the official celebration in Paphos, while the President of the House of Representatives, Annita Dimitriou, will attend the service in Ayia Napa. Festive events will also take place in the Municipality of Nicosia, with a procession and blessing of the waters at the Lake of Agios Georgios Athalasas Park. The weather is expected to be clear with light to moderate winds and a slightly choppy sea, with temperatures reaching 18 degrees Celsius inland and around 20 degrees Celsius on the coast.
