Cyprus Nightclubs Fully Booked for New Year's Eve

Nightclubs in Cyprus reached 100% occupancy on New Year's Eve, while hotels reported 60% occupancy, according to statements from the presidents of PASIKA and PASYXE. Occupancy was lower during Christmas, as the holiday is considered more family-oriented, but increased the day after, especially in coastal and mountainous areas. Nightclub owners have observed that more Cypriots chose to stay in Cyprus for the holidays this year, due to improved infrastructure and the upgraded experience the country offers. Demand for New Year's Eve reservations was high, with many businesses fully booked. Young people seemed to enjoy the celebrations particularly, and there was increased traffic to Christmas villages, a result of collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Tourism.
