Explosion at Company Offices in Limassol

An explosion occurred early this morning, around 03:20, outside the entrance of company offices in Limassol. The explosion was caused by a factory-made paper firecracker that detonated at the base of the building's glass facade, causing damage. Police officers, including a bomb disposal expert from the ADE Limassol, immediately arrived at the scene and conducted initial investigations. The area was cordoned off and placed under guard overnight, so that detailed examinations could be carried out this morning. The Limassol TAE is investigating the case as attempted destruction of property with explosives. Authorities are looking for evidence that could lead to the identification of those responsible for the act.
