Final Farewell to Andreas Karagian on Monday

Distinguished Cypriot painter, writer, and photographer Andreas Karagian passed away on March 26th at the age of 83. His death has caused grief in the art world and beyond. The funeral service will be held at the Catholic Church of the Holy Cross in Nicosia on Monday, while the family will receive condolences from 11:30 am. The burial will take place at the Catholic Cemetery in Larnaca. The family has requested that, in lieu of wreaths, donations be made to the Cyprus Red Cross and ACCEPT LGBTQ Cyprus. Andreas Karagian was a significant representative of Cypriot art, and his loss leaves a void in the cultural life of Cyprus. His work will continue to inspire and move future generations.
