Financial Times: Iran Implementing Khamenei's Plan

The Financial Times reveals that Iran has implemented a plan devised by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and top commanders to sow chaos in the Middle East, disrupt global markets, and increase pressure on the US and Israel. The plan, which began to be developed after Israel's 12-day war against Iran in June, includes attacks on energy facilities and airports. According to a source within the Iranian regime, the plan was the only option after the violation of red lines by the US and Israel. The escalation of attacks continued with the targeting of energy facilities in the Gulf, including a gas facility in Qatar and a refinery in Saudi Arabia, leading to supply disruptions and rising prices. Attacks were also carried out on hotels, airports, and ports in various countries in the region, as well as on American bases. The fall of a drone in the British Akrotiri Bases in Cyprus was confirmed by the Cypriot government. Iran has also decentralized military decision-making to ensure that its forces are not immobilized by the death of senior commanders. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the attacks continue based on Khamenei's plan. The situation remains tense and unpredictable, with potentially serious consequences for the global economy and regional stability.
