The First Lady, Philippa Karsera Christodoulides, has resigned from the presidency of the Independent Social Support Agency and other charitable organizations following the uproar caused by a leaked and edited video. Her decision was described as obvious by parties such as DISY and AKEL, with the latter also calling for the resignation of the Director of the President's Office, Charalambos Charalambous, who appears in the video. The First Lady referred to a “relentless war” after the agency's budget was increased. The Government has requested assistance from specialized teams from the United States, Israel, England, and France to investigate the leak and the video's alterations.
