For Now, There is Nothing Worrying But We Are Not Complacent, Says Erhurman

The security and well-being of the “people” is our highest priority, and although for now there is nothing worrying, we are not complacent, said the T/C leader, Tufan Erhurman, in a post today. He stressed the importance of examining every possibility and being prepared for every scenario, stating that the security forces, the civil defense organization and the police are monitoring developments. In addition, Mr. Erhurman believes it is necessary to re-examine all supply scenarios, especially regarding fuels. He referred to warnings he had made about the military developments on the g/c side, which will be discussed and re-evaluated when the time comes. He expressed hope that the situation in the region, which has led to civilian deaths, will be replaced as soon as possible by diplomacy and dialogue, through negotiations conducted in accordance with international law.
