Fuel Price Hikes Within Next 10 Days Due to War in Iran

Fuel price increases are expected within the next 10 days, due to the war in Iran and the disruption in international energy markets. According to Savvas Prokopiou, president of the Pan-Cypriot Association of Petrol Station Owners, a 10-12% increase in supply prices has already been recorded, which will gradually be passed on to retail prices. This increase is smaller compared to the start of the war in Ukraine in 2022. Mr. Prokopiou expresses hope that the relatively limited rise in crude oil prices will prevent a repeat of the energy crisis.
