Gaza: Three Dead from Israeli Strikes – Baby Dies from Cold

Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip continue, violating the ceasefire with Hamas. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, three Palestinians were killed and nine injured in the last 24 hours, with attacks concentrated in Rafah, Khan Yunis, Zeitoun, and other areas. Simultaneously, Israel continues its blockade of Gaza, preventing the entry of vital goods and humanitarian aid, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. A seven-day-old infant died of hypothermia, while a total of 21 people, including 18 children, have lost their lives to the cold since the start of the war. According to the latest figures, the war has claimed the lives of at least 71,412 Palestinians and injured 171,314. Since the ceasefire began on October 11th, 442 people have been killed and 1,236 injured. The situation is worsening due to low temperatures, reaching 9 degrees Celsius at night, and the lack of adequate living conditions for the displaced. Mahmoud Bassal, a spokesperson for Civil Defense, emphasized that the crisis is not merely weather-related but a result of obstructing reconstruction and the entry of building materials. People are living in deplorable conditions, without safety or dignity. The situation in Gaza is characterized by a complete collapse of international law and an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, with the Israeli blockade further worsening living conditions and leading to tragic losses.
