Το πρώτο τουρνουά Ακαδημιών σε επίπεδο Grassroots διοργανώνει η Ομόνοια για ποδοσφαιριστές γεννηθέντες κατά τα έτη 2014 μέχρι 2019 (7 μέχρι 12 ετών).
Το τουρνουά θα έχει διάρκεια τρεις μέρες και θα διεξαχθεί από τις 2 μέχρι τις 4 Ιουνίου. Για τη διοργάνωση θα χρησιμοποιηθεί το προπονητικό κέντρο της Ομόνοιας, «Ηλίας Πούλλος», με τρία κανονικών διαστάσεων ποδοσφαιρικά γήπεδα με γρασίδι.
Στη διοργάνωση θα συμμετάσχει μεγάλος αριθμός ομάδων προσθέτοντας κύρος και επίπεδο στο τουρνουά, ενώ εκατοντάδες παιδιά θα ξεδιπλώσουν το ταλέντο τους απολαμβάνοντας το άθλημα που αγαπάνε. Τους αγώνες θα παρακολουθεί η Διευθυντική και Προπονητική ομάδα της Ακαδημίας της Ομόνοιας.

Ο Τεχνικός Διευθυντής της Ακαδημίας της Ομόνοιας, Χριστάκης Χριστοφόρου, ανέφερε: «Είναι μεγάλη μας χαρά που ο οργανισμός της Ομόνοιας διοργανώσει το 1ο της Τουρνουά Ακαδημιών Grassroots. Omonia Organizes 1st Grassroots Academies Tournament!
Omonia announced the organization of its first grassroots academies tournament, aimed at football players aged 7-12 (born 2014-2019). The tournament will be held from June 2nd to 4th at the "Ilias Poullos" training center, utilizing three full-size grass pitches. Many teams will participate, offering a high level of competition and an opportunity for hundreds of children to showcase their talent. The matches will be monitored by the coaching staff of Omonia's academy. The tournament will be divided into age categories: 2014 Eagles & Lions, 2015 Eagles & Lions, 2016 Eagles & Lions, 2017 Eagles & Lions, 2018 Eagles & Lions and 2019 Open. This distinction will allow young footballers to compete with their peers, enhancing the competitive spirit and their development. The Technical Director of Omonia's Academy, Christakis Christoforou, expressed his satisfaction with the organization of the tournament, emphasizing that it will provide young footballers with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills at a high-level event. This event is an important step for the development of football in Cyprus.
