Hyundai has announced that its all-electric IONIQ 9 model has won the “World’s Best Large SUV” award at the “Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year” awards. The judging panel, comprised of 84 journalists from 54 countries, evaluated the nominated models based on safety, design, performance, ease of handling, environmental impact, and value for money. The IONIQ 9 stood out in all categories, confirming Hyundai's commitment to innovation and quality. Marta Garcia, Executive President of the awards, emphasized that the IONIQ 9 is an excellent example of advanced technology and ease of use, with comfort and quality features that set new standards in the large SUV segment. The IONIQ 9 has already received significant accolades, including the “TopGear.com Electric Awards 2025”, “German Premium Car of the Year 2026”, “Comfortable Cruiser of the Year 2026”, as well as design awards from Australia and Germany (Gold Australian Good Design Award, Red Dot Award, iF Design Award 2025). This award highlights Hyundai's successful journey in the electric vehicle market and its ability to create models that meet the needs and expectations of consumers.
