Israeli Minister: War Against Iran is a 'Blessing'

An Israeli minister described the war against Iran as a "blessing" for Israel, arguing that every day of the bombing campaign conducted by Israel and the US is an opportunity to "deepen the damage" inflicted on the Islamic Republic. Ze'ev Elkin, a member of the Likud party, stated that the discussion should not focus on when the war will end, but on how to extend and intensify the attack. Elkin praised the "unique cooperation" with the United States, while Israel and the US have been conducting intensive attacks on Iran since February 28. Yesterday, an Israeli strike targeted a large gas facility in southern Iran, which contributes to the exploitation of the South Pars field, the world's largest natural gas reservoir. This is the first time that the bombings have targeted energy infrastructure in Iran. US President Donald Trump confirmed Israel's responsibility for the attack, while the Israeli army and the Netanyahu government have not issued an official statement.
