Joint Quadripartite Meeting at the Presidential Palace with Christodoulides, Zelenskyy, von der Leyen and Costa

A joint quadripartite meeting was held at the Presidential Palace with the participation of the President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Council Antonio Costa and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The meeting took place within the framework of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU and concerned the Ukrainian issue. The leaders expressed their commitment to cooperation and the strengthening of Europe's strategic autonomy, security and resilience. President Christodoulides will also hold bilateral meetings with the President of the European Council and the President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, focusing on coordinating work on European priorities and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean, respectively. The inauguration ceremony of the Cypriot Presidency will be attended by leaders and representatives of Governments from various countries, as well as representatives of international organizations. After the ceremony, President Christodoulides will host a formal dinner for the heads of the delegations.
