Konstantis to Run in Cypriot Parliamentary Elections with VOLT Cyprus

Kostas Konstantis has announced his candidacy for the May 2026 parliamentary elections in Nicosia, with the VOLT Cyprus party. This decision is a continuation of his work in civil society and international cooperation, with an emphasis on transparency, inclusion, sustainability and the reunification of Cyprus. Mr. Konstantis criticizes the current government, denouncing phenomena of corruption, inequality and insecurity, and calls on citizens to actively participate in shaping a better Cyprus. He pledges to represent all communities of Cyprus and to work to improve the lives of citizens. Konstantis has extensive experience in defending human rights, gender equality, inclusion of LGBTQI+ people, accessibility for people with disabilities, integration of migrants, reforestation and peacebuilding. He is the Director of CONSTANTi.org, a consulting firm specializing in social and political analysis. Born in Australia in 1980, with roots in various regions of Cyprus, Konstantis has lived and worked in many countries before settling in Cyprus in 2006. He has academic and professional experience in psychology, politics, history, international relations and law. His candidacy marks his effort to bring his experience and values to parliament.
