Landslides and Frost Make Driving Difficult in Troodos - Which Roads are Dangerous

Due to severe weather conditions, the Police are advising drivers in Troodos to exercise extreme caution. Landslides of rocks and soil have occurred on several roads, including Pedoula-Kykkos-Kampou, Kykkos-Tsakistra, and Kampou-Orkontas-Orkontas-Kato Pyrgos. Additionally, frost has formed on specific sections of the road network, making the road surface particularly slippery, especially on the roads Prodromou-Lemithou, Prodromou-Platron, Kakopetrias-Pinewood-Pedoula, and Kakopetrias-Karvouna. The Police urge drivers to adhere to the traffic code and follow the instructions of traffic officers.
