Larnaca: Sewer and Flood Prevention Projects on Schedule

Major sewer and flood prevention projects in Larnaca are progressing on schedule, according to the president of the Larnaca Provincial Self-Governing Authority (PSGA), Angelos Chatzicharalambous. The third phase of the sewer network, covering the areas of Dromolaxia-Meneou, Pervolia, Kition, and Tsersefanos, is proceeding smoothly, while the tender for the study of the fourth phase is underway, which will extend the network to Aradippou, Livadia, Oroklini, and Pyla. The fourth phase is expected to be the largest and most expensive undertaken by the PSGA, costing around 270 million euros and lasting ten years. Simultaneously, the flood prevention project in the Kamara area is also progressing according to schedule.
