The Larnaqa Police have arrested five of the eight foreign nationals wanted in connection with the serious shooting incident in the city center. The arrested individuals will appear in the Larnaqa District Court tomorrow for remand warrants. Three more foreign nationals remain at large, with reports suggesting two have fled abroad. Meanwhile, a 48-year-old Cypriot, allegedly a leader of the group, remains in eight-day custody in the hospital where he is being treated for injuries. The case involves offenses such as conspiracy, illegal possession of weapons and explosives, extortion, and assault causing bodily harm. According to investigations, the group had approached a businessman demanding money for 'protection'.
