Limassol: 56-Year-Old Arrested After Stabbing Incident

A 56-year-old man has been arrested in Limassol following a court warrant, as part of an investigation into a stabbing and injury case. According to the Police, the 56-year-old allegedly attacked a 68-year-old man with a knife, following a verbal altercation with the driver of his car. The incident occurred on March 27, 2026, when the 68-year-old was inside his car and had a disagreement with the driver of another vehicle. The passenger of the driver, the 56-year-old, got out of the car and attacked the 68-year-old, causing a laceration to his abdomen. The 68-year-old was taken to hospital, where he received first aid and was discharged. The 22-year-old driver of the other vehicle had been previously arrested with a court warrant and was released to be summoned before the Court. The 56-year-old has been detained to facilitate investigations and is expected to appear before the Court. Police continue their investigations to clarify all aspects of the case.
