Maduro Held in Notorious Brooklyn Jail – Who Are His Cellmates?

Nicolas Maduro, the ousted president of Venezuela, and his wife have been transferred to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, one of the most notorious jails in the U.S., following a raid by American military forces in Caracas. Maduro and Flores face charges related to narcotics and weapons and will remain at the MDC until their federal trial. The jail has previously housed other well-known inmates, including Sean “Diddy” Combs, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Sam Bankman-Fried. Conditions at the MDC have been described as “inhumane” by lawyers, with reports of violence, lack of safety, and poor sanitation.
